Lemon Drop Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg, room temperature
- Zest and juice of one large lemon
- 1 Tablespoon water
Directions
Heat the oven to 375° F.
Cream the butter, sugar, and lemon zest together until fluffy. Gradually add the flour and baking soda, alternating with the egg, lemon juice, and water. Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on a lined baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
